SPECviewperf®
- When running SPECviewperf 10 on Windows Vista, no results
are generated.
- You may need to turn off UAC (User Access Control) to permit
SPECviewperf to save its results.
- Is SPECviewperf 10 supported on Windows 7?
- No, it is not. Windows 7 support will be added in SPECviewperf 11,
currently under development.
- When trying to uninstall SPECviewperf 9 using
Windows' Add/Remove Software, I get an error message
that install.log cannot be found. How do I uninstall
the software?
- Check your root directory for the UNWISE.EXE and INSTALL.LOG
files; if they are there, you can manually run the uninstaller
from that location. You can also manually delete the SPECopc
directory and the start menu entries.
- When running SPECviewperf, I get the error message
"Selecting a pixel format failed."
- Try running SPECviewperf in 32bpp mode. If that
does not take care of the error,
contact SPEC support.
